What Little Dragons parents notice first:
Since 1996
Henderson families have trusted Master Cox's school for nearly three decades.

Designed For This Age
Little Dragons is built for short attention spans. Every class mixes movement, games and real technique, so kids learn to listen without realizing they are practicing.
Focus
Eyes on the instructor, feet on the line. Kids practice paying attention in small, winnable bites.
Listening
"Yes, ma'am" the first time becomes a habit on the mat, then at home.
Confidence
Loud kiai, strong stance, eye contact. Shy kids find their voice here.
Respect
Bowing in, waiting turns and helping partners up are part of every class.
Stripes and belts
Visible progress kids can point to and be proud of.
Stranger safety
Age-appropriate lessons on voice, distance and finding a safe adult.
Line up and bow in
Kids find their spot, bow in and say the student creed together.
Warm-up games
Animal walks, jumping drills and reaction games that get the wiggles out.
Technique blocks
Kicks, punches and blocks on pads, broken into steps small kids can master.
Life skill of the week
Focus, kindness or courage, practiced with a drill, not just a speech.
Stripes and bow out
Earned stripes are handed out in front of the class. Big smiles every time.

In the First Few Weeks
Listens the first time more often
Talks about class all the way home
Bows and says hello to new people
Sticks with hard things a little longer
Built For This Age
Every drill is chosen for 4 to 7 year olds. Instructors are on the floor the whole class, not watching from the desk.
Matched partners
Kids are paired by size, age and experience. Contact is controlled and coached.
A set routine
Same bow-in, same structure, every class. Kids know what is coming, so they settle in fast.
Ranked instructors
Every instructor is ranked under Master Tara Cox, a 9th-degree black belt in the Chuck Norris System.

Every Little Dragon remembers the day their name is called in front of the class.
They earned it
Stripes are given for real effort and skill, so kids know it means something.
They want the next one
That first win is what keeps a 5 year old asking to go back.
You see it at home
The same pride shows up in homework, chores and how they talk about themselves.
Many Legacy students start as little kids and are still on the mat as black belts, and some now teach here.

"Legacy Martial Arts has been an incredible experience for my two sons. In a very short amount of time, I've seen a noticeable shift in their discipline and self-control. They are learning practical self-defense skills, but more importantly, they are building character."
— Christopher Brown
"My sons tried their Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Karate class last week. They loved it & I did too! The staff is laid back, knowledgeable, great with the kids and hands on. This is the Martial Arts school all 3 of our boys will attend."
— Nisha B.
"We love this place! This studio is a positive, family oriented environment. My son has learned so much from the instructors."
— Kristen Kaske

"I have been on the mat since 1980. If your child does not leave their first two weeks standing a little taller, call me directly and we will make it right."
