Sound Familiar?

What parents notice in the first few weeks:
Since 1996
Henderson families have trusted Master Cox's school for nearly three decades.

Designed For This Age
Eight to eleven is when kids start deciding whether they are the kind of person who quits. A graded standard, a visible rank and an instructor who gets them through it answers that question the right way.
Earned belts
Tests are graded. A stripe means the technique was done right.
Real self-defense
Distance, voice and exit first. Striking last.
Controlled sparring
Gear on, contact controlled, coaching loud.
Focus under pressure
Forms and drills train memory and patience.
Character
Discipline, Integrity, Loyalty and Respect, taught every class.
Chuck Norris System
A proven curriculum through the United Fighting Arts Federation.
Bow in and warm-up
Footwork, core and flexibility. No standing around.
Basics on the line
Blocks, strikes and kicks called out and corrected one student at a time.
Forms
Memorized sequences that build precision and patience.
Partner drills or sparring
Gear on, matched partners, instructor on the floor the whole time.
Mat chat and bow out
A short talk tying class back to school, home and how they treat people.

In the First Few Weeks
Better eye contact and clearer answers
Homework without the fight, more often
Proud of something they worked for
New friends who expect them back
Built For This Age
Every drill is chosen for 8 to 11 year olds. Instructors are on the floor the whole class, not watching from the desk.
Matched partners
Kids are paired by size, age and experience. Contact is controlled and coached.
A set routine
Same bow-in, same structure, every class. Kids know what is coming, so they settle in fast.
Ranked instructors
Every instructor is ranked under Master Tara Cox, a 9th-degree black belt in the Chuck Norris System.

A tough sparring round, a form done right, a medal at a UFAF tournament. Kids find out what they can do when nobody lowers the bar.
Confidence that's real
Built on things they actually did, not on being told they're great.
Calm under pressure
Kids who have sparred stay composed when school gets stressful.
A team behind them
Our Demo Team has won the ITC eight years running.
Many Legacy students start as little kids and are still on the mat as black belts, and some now teach here.

"Legacy Martial Arts has been an incredible experience for my two sons. In a very short amount of time, I've seen a noticeable shift in their discipline and self-control. They are learning practical self-defense skills, but more importantly, they are building character."
— Christopher Brown
"My sons tried their Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Karate class last week. They loved it & I did too! The staff is laid back, knowledgeable, great with the kids and hands on. This is the Martial Arts school all 3 of our boys will attend."
— Nisha B.
"We love this place! This studio is a positive, family oriented environment. My son has learned so much from the instructors."
— Kristen Kaske

"I have been on the mat since 1980. If your child does not leave their first two weeks standing a little taller, call me directly and we will make it right."
